GIVE IN OTHER WAYS
There are many meaningful ways to donate to the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF). Below are different giving options for individuals, businesses, and groups to consider.
Workplace Giving Campaign
Many companies have workplace giving campaigns and matching gift programs that allow employees to contribute to their favorite charity and for the company to double their donation. To find out if your employer has a matching gift program, use our Matching Gift Employer Search or check with your human resource department.
Some companies participate in United Way and State Employee Campaigns, which allows you to select the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation to be the recipient of your payroll deductions. Federal employees can give through the Combined Federal Campaign by writing “Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation” on the pledge card and using the national designation code of 20736.
Automatic Giving
Demonstrate your commitment to funding research with an annual pledge. Determine the amount you want to give and the frequency of payment, and CCF will automatically process it annually, semiannually, quarterly, or monthly. When making an online donation, you can select "donation frequency."
Tribute Donation
Cherish the memory of someone you love or honor a friend with a one time or monthly tribute gift. It can also be a memorable gift for someone who has everything, or it can be used to mark a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. A “Hope” tribute card will be sent acknowledging your gift.
Stocks and Securities
If you own stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or other non-cash property that have appreciated, there may be a tax advantage to donating securities. You will not have to pay capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities, and you will also receive a tax deduction for the full value of your donated securities.
Goods and Services
In-kind donations can take many forms and include office supplies, airline tickets, auction items, or professional services. High-value items or one-of-kind experiences can be used for our silent auction at our golf event, which can generate additional income for CCF. Frequent flyer mileage and credit card reward points also can be redeemed for silent auction items.
Pro-bono professional services in publicity, graphic design, copywriting, advertising, and legal services are useful, as well as the underwriting of printing costs for stationary, meeting items, marketing materials, and promotional items.
Corporate Sponsorship
CCF welcomes the opportunity to develop new corporate partnerships. Businesses can support the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation’s (CCF) with charitable gifts, event sponsorships, in-kind donations, and workplace giving programs.
Families can help introduce CCF to their workplace for giving consideration, especially if the company has a charitable foundation that provides program grants and provides pro-bono services or company volunteers.
