BOARD OF DIRECTORS

CCF’s Board of Directors is comprised of business professionals from various disciplines who oversee the Foundation’s policies and activities.

Lisa Yue – President
Lisa Yue is the founder and former executive director of the Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF). In recognition of her work for CCF, she received the Good Housekeeping 2004 Hero for Health Award and the Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian 2005 Golden Heart Award. Ms. Yue was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2014 Pandora Hearts of Today contest and an honoree in the Lady Godiva Program. In 2014 CCF received the New Jersey Biz Healthcare Heroes Award for Education. Before CCF, Ms. Yue was the Asia regional marketing director for Columbia TriStar Films, a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment. She also held marketing management positions at Kraft Heinz, McDonald's, and Walt Disney. She is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Carney Hawks – Treasurer
Mr. Hawks is the Chairman and CEO of Hawks Acquisition Corp, a SPAC which raised $230mm in its IPO in October 2021. Previously, Mr. Hawks was a partner at Brigade Capital Management, a credit-focused asset management firm. He graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in commerce and is a CFA charterholder. He resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife Melissa and their three children.

Raymond Yue – Secretary
Mr. Yue has a wide range of experience in finance, business planning and operations. He is currently Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations for Talkdesk, a cloud-based contact center and artificial intelligence software provider. Mr. Yue has experience in strategic planning, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions, and has held senior finance positions at leading companies such as Microsoft, Intuit, The Walt Disney Company, eBay, and Skype. Mr. Yue holds an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a B.S. from Georgetown University.

Won Choi – Director
Mr. Choi is a managing director at MacKay Shields in the High Yield Group, where he focuses on the chemicals, metals, and paper & packaging sectors. Previously, he worked for Fenway Partners and the Investment Banking Division of Salomon Smith Barney. Mr. Choi holds a B.A. from Yale University and is a CFA charterholder.

Carolyn Kong – Director
Dr. Kong is Chief Business & Medical Officer at IBSA Pharma Inc. Prior to IBSA, Dr. Kong held several senior management roles covering new business development, commercial strategy and global marketing at Fidia Pharma, Endo Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson. She also worked at GD Searle/Pharmacia in new product planning, and Bristol- Myers Squibb in the cardiovascular franchise. Dr. Kong received her B.S. in Pharmacy from Rutgers University and Pharm.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Brian Nold – Director
Dr. Nold is a founding partner and chief investment officer for Column Park Asset Management. Previously, he was a managing director and senior portfolio manager focused on healthcare and utilities at Seix Investment Advisors, a fixed income money management firm in New Jersey. Prior to joining Seix, Dr. Nold served as a fixed income research analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York. Dr. Nold holds a M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Eddie Yu – Director
Eddie Yu is a co-founder of the Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF) and works with CCF's board of directors on a number of fundraising initiatives. Mr. Yu has more than 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, including equity research, fixed income research, distressed sales, and banking in both the U.S. and Asia. Currently, he is working at Muzinich & Co. on their Long Short Credit team. Previously, he was the President of Column Park Asset Management and served as a Managing Director at Nomura Securities, Macquarie Capital, and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Yu graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.A. and Columbia University Graduate School of Business with a M.B.A.
